This was one of our ORIGINAL dozen or so shirts we ever made, so it's special to us.  The way it came about was, the year before I started the company, I was sitting on the back porch of my old place in Wrigleyville, with the El Trains whizzing by 2 feet away, on a mid-summer evening, drinking a beer and smoking a cigar with my friend, Jeff.  We were discussing how things hadn't worked out with these girls I'd dated in the past, and he said, "let's see, there was a girl from New York, a girl from Seattle, one from Tennessee, a couple from California and Florida... you know, what YOU need is to find some nice... CORN-FED Midwestern Girl.  Then you'll be happy!"  I remembered that conversation when I was brainstorming ideas the next year, and out of our first batch of tees, THIS was the one that really stood out and took off.  From the success of the Midwestern Girl, we thought, "Hey, what if we do some other GIRL shirts?"  And that's how that all started!

This shirt has been written about and featured numerous times over the years, including in The Chicago Tribune, Lucky Magazine, and The Omaha World-Herald.
